Corinthia Hotels

Eleven grand hotels shaped by Maltese ownership, landmark buildings, and Mediterranean hospitality.

Corinthia began in Malta in 1968 and remains associated with the Pisani family. Its 11 current hotels combine grande dame scale with a deliberately more intimate service idea the group calls Grand Boutique. The collection includes the founding Corinthia Palace, a Mediterranean resort at St George's Bay, restored landmarks in London, Brussels, Bucharest, Budapest, and Rome, and established city hotels from Lisbon to Tripoli. The Surrey brings the flag to New York through a smaller residential model. Rome opened on 9 March 2026 and is included on the current consumer directory, despite an older development page still describing it as future. Eight announced projects, along with branded residences and clubs, are excluded until they operate as hotels. Corinthia DISCOVERY connects the group to GHA's wider rewards network with direct member rates, DISCOVERY Dollars, and tier recognition.

How it works

Join without charge and book an eligible rate. Corinthia advertises an additional 10 percent reduction through direct member rates. Eligible hotel stays, restaurant purchases, and spa spend return 4 to 7 percent in DISCOVERY Dollars according to tier, with each D$ valued at one US dollar. Members can redeem D$ toward a booking, a spa day, dining, or the hotel bill at checkout. Recognition benefits can include room upgrades, early check-in, and late checkout when available. Excluded employee, tour-series, charter, complimentary, and other non-qualifying rates do not earn, so confirm eligibility before choosing the lowest price.

What to expect

  • Direct member rates advertised at 10 percent below eligible public rates
  • Earn 4 to 7 percent back in DISCOVERY Dollars on eligible purchases
  • Redeem D$ during supported bookings or toward eligible hotel, dining, and spa charges
  • Tier-based upgrades, early arrival, late departure, local offers, and member experiences

Who should care

Repeat Corinthia guests, travellers using other GHA brands, and guests whose restaurant or spa spending makes the D$ return meaningful.

Who can ignore it

Guests on excluded rates, or travellers whose qualified advisor package delivers more certain value than the member discount, D$ earning, and availability-based recognition.

The current official FAQ states that one D$ equals one US dollar. Currency validity and benefit details depend on tier and current GHA DISCOVERY terms.
