THE KARL LAGERFELD is a one-hotel hospitality brand within Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau. The 271-room Cotai tower soft-opened in December 2021 and held its grand opening in June 2023. It is the only hotel tower whose interiors were designed throughout by Karl Lagerfeld, who personally selected its patterns, materials, furniture, lighting, and decorative objects before his death in 2019. His black, white, red, and gold palette meets a modern interpretation of Chinoiserie through moon gates, lacquer, porcelain, chain chandeliers, graphic carpets, and calligraphic forms. The authorship extends beyond rooms to Mesa, The Book Lounge, the spa, indoor and outdoor pools, and public circulation. The hotel is operated by SJM Resorts rather than as a global chain. It participates in SJM Supreme Card, a free, spend-qualified membership programme shared across SJM properties and participating outlets in Macau. Supreme Card provides tiered dining, spa, salon, shopping, and entertainment privileges, but no conventional hotel-points currency. Residences, fashion boutiques, and other KARL LAGERFELD products are excluded from the hotel portfolio.

How it works
Join free at Emerald, then present the digital membership before settling eligible bills. Current tier qualification uses cumulative net spending at designated Grand Lisboa Palace and Grand Lisboa dining and spa outlets over the preceding 12 consecutive months. Gold begins at MOP50,000, Platinum at MOP150,000, and Diamond at MOP300,000. Published core discounts rise from 5 percent dining and spa at Emerald to 10 percent at Gold, 15 percent at Platinum, and up to 30 percent dining plus 20 percent spa at Diamond. Participating outlets, exclusions, and blackout dates vary. The public tier rules do not describe room nights as qualifying spend, so do not assume a hotel stay alone advances status.
