The Den Bengaluru Joins LXR With a Reason to Leave Your Room

The Den Bengaluru is India’s first LXR hotel, pairing Hilton Honors access with Whitefield outings, sleep rituals and a 226-room base for longer city stays.

The Den Bengaluru has joined LXR Hotels & Resorts as the brand’s first property in India, with neighbourhood experiences that include harvesting produce for a personalised meal. Hilton announced the opening under its luxury collection on October 13, adding a 226-room address in Whitefield to its portfolio.

What is different about the new LXR chapter?

The hotel is owned by Dan Hospitality India and managed by Hilton. Its name remains The Den, while the affiliation brings it into LXR’s collection and the Hilton Honors programme. The practical change for a Hilton loyalist is another place to consider points and eligible direct-booking benefits when planning a Bengaluru stay.

That does not make every benefit automatic on every booking. Guests should check the rate, redemption availability and terms for their dates. A brand debut is useful news for planning, but it is not a promise of a particular points price or complimentary upgrade.

What can guests do beyond the usual business itinerary?

The new Whitefield Unscripted programme focuses on the surrounding neighbourhood. Hilton describes a Verandah Trail through heritage bungalows and longstanding local institutions, plus a farm visit where guests can harvest ingredients before a meal prepared by the hotel’s culinary team.

The other signature offering, The Pause Program, turns attention back to rest. Its components include an arrival ritual, a sleep kit and a pillow menu. For travellers fitting a stay between meetings, the combination offers two different ways to use limited free time: get outside with a local experience or protect an evening for recovery.

What else is available on the property?

Accommodation spans rooms, studios and suites. The dining venues named in Hilton’s announcement include rooftop restaurant Layla, all-day restaurant The Creek, The Deli and a wellness counter called The Cold Press. Guests should check opening times and reservations for the venues they want to use.

The Sanctuary spa, a fitness centre and an outdoor pool cover the core wellness offering. Recreational areas include The Playhouse, with tabletop games and a pool table, and The Cave screening space. HOTELSMag also reports more than 21,000 square feet of event facilities spread across seven venues.

Whitefield is the key location detail when deciding whether this hotel fits the trip. Map the address against actual appointments and excursions before booking. For guests whose plans already centre on that part of Bengaluru, the attraction is a stay that can accommodate work, rest and a short neighbourhood outing without treating each as a separate trip.
