Le Grand Contrôle sits at 12 rue de l’Indépendance Américaine, inside the estate of the Palace of Versailles. Jules Hardouin-Mansart built the house in 1681. Airelles opened it in 2021 after Christophe Tollemer restored it from a 1788 inventory. The official suites index prints 15 rooms and suites. Deluxe rooms are 35 square metres (Orry, Calonne, Jules Hardouin-Mansart). Baron de Staël-Holstein and Turgot are 50. L’Orangerie is 55 with a 40-square-metre terrace and is the printed PMR room. Madame de Fouquet is 50 with a 30-square-metre terrace. Premier Suites are 70. Rose Bertin is 65, two bedrooms, attic, no elevator, 18 steps. Marquis de Fouquet is 90. Necker is 120. Madame de Staël is 150. Quintinie is 120. Le Nôtre is 130 on the second floor of the Pavillon des Jardiniers. The Pavillon is 250. Le Grand Appartement is 300.
Lock the calendar on day one. Ducasse lunch is every day noon–14:00 except Sunday. Breakfast — Le Lever Royal — is Monday–Saturday 07:00–10:00; Sunday is brunch 11:30–14:00, not those breakfast hours. Tea Time is 15:30–16:30; hotel guests daily, outside guests Friday–Sunday only. La Table des Jardiniers is dinner only from 19:30. The Royal Feast is every day at 19:45 and 20:30; smart dress, gentlemen a jacket; Saturday is one shared large table. Bar de La Chapelle is 12:00–22:00. The Grand Banquet is not a nightly restaurant.
The after-hours château tour is hotel guests only, every evening. Official caveat: access to the different rooms may vary according to the Château’s schedule; not all areas can be guaranteed.
