Amangalla Dining Guide
The Dining Room seats 26 to 50 for breakfast through dinner — Sri Lankan rice and curry that changes nightly, Western plates, antique silver — inside the Zaal. The Veranda seats 30 along Church Street for hopper breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and candlelit dinner. Zaal for tea and piano drinks. Sunset Balcony for 16 at sundown. Pool and library for shade meals. Afternoon tea with Ceylon, house scones, and Nuwara Eliya jam sits on the stay list. Open to non-residents when tables exist. Other meals extra. Not all-inclusive.
Before you book dinner
- The Dining Room serves breakfast from 7:00am to 10:30am, lunch from 12:00pm to 3:00pm, and dinner from 6:30pm to 10:30pm.
- Traditional afternoon high tea is served daily in The Zaal from 3:00pm to 5:30pm.
- Private candlelit dinners can be arranged poolside under the frangipani trees.
