Cip's Club is the hotel's most photographed table and, for many guests, the more memorable meal than Oro — not because the cooking is finer, but because the setting is almost unfair. The dining platform sits on the water with a direct sightline to St Mark's Square and the Doge's Palace; at sunset the whole Bacino turns the colour of the Bellini in your glass. Chef Roberto Gatto keeps the menu closer to Venetian classic than Oro does: a page of house signatures, Rialto-market seafood, and pasta that does not need reinterpretation. Michelin lists it as a traditional cuisine address rather than a starred room, which is the right framing — this is destination dining for the view and the ritual, not for tasting-menu theatre. Seasonal closing is real: confirm open dates (historically reopening around early April). A complimentary boat shuttle from St Mark's is offered for outside diners.
