Taj Falaknuma Palace occupies 32 acres at Engine Bowli, 609 metres above Hyderabad, with 60 rooms and suites in the former Nizam residence restored under Princess Esra. Taj gives two points in the palace chronology: built in 1894 and completed in 1897. It also says restoration took ten years.
