Twenty-four rooms and suites, each named for a cook or writer, Joyce Evans interiors. The Main Building has junior suites, a loft, a turret, superior rooms, a suite and two bi-level suites (Thomas Keller and Alice Waters) with sitting rooms and balconies. Carter House adds a junior suite, a suite and the Gary Danko Garden Suite — first floor, hexagonal bath, gas fireplace, private courtyard. Parsonage rooms include intermediate, mountain-view, a junior suite and a superior. Whole houses book as one key: Mayor’s, Gamekeeper’s, Claiborne, Cardinal’s Nest. Ask building and stairs before you book. There is no Deluxe Lodge or farmhouse pair on the list.
