The Point Resort Dining Guide
House-party dining. Most dinners are communal in the Great Hall, hosted by management the way the Rockefellers hosted. Four courses with wine most nights at 8:00 p.m.; jacket and tie. Wednesday and Saturday: black-tie seven-course tasting. Cocktail hour moves around the estate. Breakfast coffee comes to the room; lunch can be the Great Hall, Camp David, an island, or the point of The Point. You may dine in the room or The Pub if you prefer privacy. Live chef page: Executive Chef D’Anthony, who came in 2014 under Loïc Leperlier; the 2023 fact sheet still lists Loïc as executive chef. Pairings and house drinks are in the all-inclusive.
Before you book dinner
- Meals are served communally or privately in your suite/lean-to upon request.
- The Great Hall serves dinner promptly at 8:00pm (pre-dinner cocktails in the bar from 7:00pm).
- Wednesday and Saturday dinners are formal black-tie events; other nights are smart casual.
