Grand Hyatt Grand Cayman Opens Reservations From November 28

Grand Hyatt Grand Cayman Resort & Spa is finally taking reservations, with inventory live from November 28 on Hyatt's booking system for one of Grand Cayman's largest new luxury openings in years.

Caribbean Journal confirmed the date against Hyatt's live calendar. The project has been in the pipeline since at least 2018. At 382 rooms and suites on about 900 feet of Seven Mile Beach oceanfront, roughly 10 minutes from the airport, it lands as a full-scale resort rather than a boutique add-on to an already dense beach strip.

What will it cost on opening night?

Advance-purchase World of Hyatt member rates for November 28 were quoted around $1,767 for a king ocean-view balcony room, with non-member advance rates near $1,801 before taxes. Oceanfront kings sat a few dollars higher. Hyatt also lists an $85 nightly resort fee. Rooms start at 468 square feet with furnished balconies, spanning standard kings and two-queen layouts through ocean-view and oceanfront categories. In World of Hyatt, the hotel is Category 8.

What is on property besides the beach?

Plans call for multiple oceanfront pools, a spa, a fitness center, and a Grand Club Lounge, plus what Hyatt describes as the island's largest meetings and events footprint. Dining concepts include Brasa as a signature restaurant. That mix targets both leisure travelers who want Seven Mile Beach access and groups that have been short on large, modern ballroom inventory on Cayman.
