Jayasom AMAALA Opens With 200 Therapies Split Across Adult and Family Wings
Jayasom Wellness Resort opens at AMAALA with 153 keys, 24 residences, and more than 200 therapies across adult-only and family zones on Triple Bay.
Jayasom Wellness Resort AMAALA has opened on Triple Bay's largest cove, becoming the seventh resort to welcome guests at AMAALA on Saudi Arabia's Red Sea coast. The 153-key property, with 24 beachfront residences, is Jayasom's global flagship and the clearest signal yet that AMAALA wants to compete as a destination built around long-stay health, not just beach luxury.
Designed by Heah & Co. with interiors by Studio Carter, the resort sits between the Red Sea and the Tabuk mountains. Red Sea Global positions it inside AMAALA's wellness core, alongside neighbours such as Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA at Triple Bay and the forthcoming Rosewood AMAALA. For travellers already tracking the destination, Jayasom is the first brand there built almost entirely around clinical and holistic programmes rather than a conventional spa add-on.
What is actually on offer for guests?
Jayasom lists more than 200 therapies across six pillars: traditional and holistic health, physio relief and recovery, strength and mobility, spa and hydrotherapy, aesthetic and clinical care, and nutrition and vitality. Facilities reported at opening include more than 70 treatment rooms, 15 consultation rooms, hydrothermal zones, outdoor mineral and Watsu pools, cryotherapy, sound therapy spaces, and a physiotherapy suite with Neurac and Gyrotonic systems.
The guest journey is split into two wings. Jayana is adults-only, focused on therapies, fitness, and Pilates. Jayela is built for families, with age-banded studios for infants through teenagers and shared experiences that keep parents and children on overlapping wellness schedules. Signature at launch is Essence of Jayasom, a programme shaped by a dedicated Wellness Advisor around each guest's physical and emotional goals.
Why does the adult-family split matter?
Most ultra-luxury wellness resorts force a choice: either a quiet adults retreat or a soft family hotel with a kids club bolted on. Jayasom's layout tries to sell both under one brand without making the adult wing feel like a daycare annex. That matters for multi-generational groups who want serious recovery protocols, not just beach time with a massage menu.
Nutrition is treated as part of the stay, not a side restaurant. Eight dining venues lean on seasonal produce from AMAALA's Farm Belt, with plant-forward cooking, fermentation programmes, and classes at the Nakeha cooking studio. Residences are two- to four-bedroom beachfront villas with private pools; owners get preferred treatment access and complimentary wellness retreats.
How does this change an AMAALA itinerary?
AMAALA is still early in its rollout, with more than 1,600 keys planned across nine resorts. Jayasom's opening, one day after Red Sea Global's formal announcement on 16 September 2026, gives planners a concrete wellness address rather than another lifestyle beach club. The resort runs on solar power with the rest of the destination and sits within RSG's wider conservation targets.
For guests, the practical takeaway is simple: if your AMAALA trip is about diagnostics, recovery, or family health habits, Jayasom is now bookable as a purpose-built base. If you want classic ultra-luxury beach service with a lighter spa layer, Four Seasons and Rosewood remain the closer fits nearby.
