Park Hyatt Phu Quoc Opens December Bookings With an Eight-Bedroom Surprise
Park Hyatt Phu Quoc accepts arrivals from December 18, with 54 pool villas and an eight-bedroom estate that changes the options for larger family holidays.
Park Hyatt Phu Quoc is accepting reservations for arrivals from December 18, 2026, bringing the brand's first Vietnamese resort into the year-end holiday calendar. Alongside 114 rooms and suites and 54 pool villas, the property has an unusually large option for families travelling together: The Manor, an eight-bedroom private residence.
What makes the accommodation choice different?
The official hotel website describes The Manor as a 16,000-square-metre estate with private pools, a cinema, spa and fitness space. For a reunion spanning several households, that creates a different decision from simply reserving adjoining rooms. Ask how the bedrooms are distributed and which services are dedicated to the residence before comparing the total cost with a group of villas.
Across the wider resort, villas occupy beachfront, lakeside and hillside locations. A pool villa therefore does not automatically mean a position directly on the sand. The published room categories distinguish beachfront accommodation from other settings, a useful detail to check before paying for a particular view or location.
What will guests find beyond their rooms?
Hyatt's property site places the resort along 1.7 kilometres of shoreline on Phu Quoc's southwest coast. The layout borrows from Vietnamese coastal villages, with courtyards, gardens and paths connecting accommodation and shared spaces. Two outdoor pools and a children's club give families alternatives to spending the whole day at their own villa.
Fisherman's serves seafood above the water, while SOMA Wellbeing occupies a quiet lake setting. Hyatt's announcement also describes opportunities to learn from local fishermen and rice farmers. These are activities to arrange around a stay, rather than reasons to assume every excursion is included in a room rate.
What should festive-season travellers check?
The Hyatt-supplied opening announcement says a New Year's Eve gala dinner is included for adult guests staying on December 31, with separate charges for children. Families should request those charges alongside the accommodation quote.
December 18 is the first arrival date currently being accepted, rather than a reason to treat an opening timetable as immutable. Before attaching non-refundable flights, confirm the reservation and cancellation terms directly through the official resort website, especially for a large family booking that would be difficult to relocate.
