Ritz-Carlton Residences Waikiki Brings Ladurée to Hawaii This Holiday Season
The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Waikiki Beach will host Ladurée's first Hawaii pop-up from December, plus in-suite tea and a Ladurée breakfast from November.
The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Waikiki Beach is bringing Ladurée to Hawaii for the first time this holiday season. On October 9 the resort detailed a full festive programme with the Paris pâtisserie house: a public Parisian Tea Time pop-up from December 4, Ladurée en Suite tea service in the three top-floor signature suites from November 1, and a Bonjour, Waikīkī in-room breakfast built around Ladurée's omelette recipe. The partnership sits inside the residences' 10th-anniversary year and gives guests a concrete reason to book Waikīkī for November through early January rather than treating the news as a brand slogan.
What is Parisian Tea Time, and can anyone go?
From December 4, the open-air terrace of the Diamond Head Tower becomes a limited Ladurée festive pop-up with the maison’s pâtisserie cart, macarons, Eugénies, finger pastries, tea, and Champagne. It is open to hotel guests and the public. A $150 service for two covers four macarons, four Eugénies, two finger pastries, tea or coffee, and two glasses of Champagne. Hours run Thursday through Sunday, noon to 5 p.m., then daily from December 20 through January 3. Reservations open November 1 on the resort site. Finger pastry flavours named so far include chocolate hazelnut, vanilla ocean, pistachio, and mango yuzu, with teas such as Earl Grey, Breakfast, Rose, and Marie Antoinette.
What can suite guests book that walk-ins cannot?
Ladurée en Suite, also from November 1 through January 3, brings curated teas with macarons and Eugénies into the three signature top-floor suites in the Suite Collection. Bonjour, Waikīkī adds an in-room breakfast of the maison omelette, seasonal fruit, yogurt with Ladurée granola, lemon or rose pound cake, tea or Lavazza coffee, and two macarons. Limited-edition 12-piece macaron and Eugénie gift boxes with custom sleeves by illustrator Meagan Morrison go on sale December 1 in The Ritz-Carlton Boutique. Those pieces are the stay-inside reasons to hold a suite rather than only joining the terrace queue.
How should you plan a Waikīkī trip around this?
Put a hold on November 1 for suite tea or breakfast if that is the point of the trip, and on the same date for terrace reservations if you want the public pop-up without a suite. Travellers comparing Oahu luxury stays can still weigh Halekulani or Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina for a full resort footprint; this news is specifically about a Ritz-Carlton Residences holiday activation, not a new hotel opening. Ask whether the suite experiences are included or charged, and whether terrace booking is required for Christmas week when the pop-up goes daily. The so-what is simple: if Ladurée in Hawaii is why you are flying, the calendar now has hard dates instead of a vague "festive season" promise.
