Rosewood Earns Michelin Keys at 39 Hotels, Six With Three Keys
Rosewood reported Michelin Keys at 39 properties for 2026, including six Three Key hotels from Hong Kong and Kona Village to Schloss Fuschl.
Rosewood says 39 of its hotels and resorts received Michelin Keys in the Guide's 2026 global hotel selection, announced September 18. Six properties landed Three Keys, the highest tier: Kona Village, A Rosewood Resort; Rosewood Luang Prabang; Rosewood Hong Kong; Castiglion del Bosco, A Rosewood Hotel; Rosewood São Paulo; and Rosewood Schloss Fuschl.
The portfolio haul is separate from Rosewood Hong Kong's recent second consecutive win as the World's 50 Best Hotels No. 1. Keys measure a different checklist: architecture and interiors, service consistency, character, value, and how well the stay fits its setting. For guests, the useful takeaway is breadth. Nearly two-fifths of the brand's global map now carries some form of Michelin hotel recognition, which is rare density at the ultra-luxury tier.
Which Rosewood hotels made the list
Beyond the six Three Key names, the Two Key group stretches from Rosewood London, The Chancery Rosewood, and The Carlyle to Rosewood Mayakoba, Las Ventanas al Paraíso, Hôtel de Crillon, Rosewood Bangkok, Rosewood Phuket, and Rosewood Cape Kidnappers, among others. One Key addresses include Rosewood Little Dix Bay, Rosewood Baha Mar, Rosewood Abu Dhabi, and Rosewood Bermuda. President Radha Arora framed the results as recognition for associates across the system rather than a single-market campaign.
Pipeline context matters for trip planners watching the brand. Rosewood AMAALA recently opened, and 2027 openings are lined up for Rosewood Calistoga, Rosewood Rome, Rosewood Blue Palace, and Rosewood Red Sea. Keys on today's operating hotels do not guarantee Keys on tomorrow's openings, but they do show where Michelin inspectors already find the brand's Sense of Place pitch convincing.
What this means if you are booking Rosewood
If you already favor Rosewood for residential-scale rooms and local storytelling, the Keys list is a filter, not a shopping list. Three Key properties give the strongest independent signal for a once-a-year celebration stay. Two Key and One Key hotels still sit in the ultra-luxury band; they may simply be newer, more remote, or harder to compare on Michelin's five criteria. Cross-check against your destination: a Three Key city hotel in Hong Kong solves a different trip than a Three Key Tuscan estate or a Hawaiian resort rebuilt after years of dormancy.
For multi-stop itineraries, the density of recognized Rosewood addresses also makes brand loyalty slightly more rational. You can string a Keys-recognized city stay with a Keys-recognized beach or countryside property without leaving the portfolio, then decide whether the Keys tier or the specific room product matters more for each night.
