St. Regis Dubai The Palm Returns With a Familiar Ritual Reworked

The St. Regis Dubai, The Palm is preparing to reopen on November 1, 2026, with its reimagined St. Regis Bar at the centre of the return. The hotel confirmed the date on its Marriott website, while an October 23 announcement detailed a Manhattan-inspired setting and live piano on four evenings a week.

For travellers planning a winter stay on Palm Jumeirah, this puts rooms and wellness back into consideration after the property's refurbishment closure. Khaleej Times reported that accommodation and several key services had been offline since April 12. The news concerns the hotel's return, rather than the first opening of every venue associated with the address.

What will be different at the bar?

The refreshed room uses photographs of Manhattan to connect the Dubai hotel with the brand's New York origins. The drinks selection combines established signatures with new creations. Marriott's dining page currently lists pianist Amer M from Wednesday to Saturday, between 8pm and 11pm.

The brand's champagne-sabering Evening Ritual also appears on that page. If the bar is part of your evening plans, ask which nights the ritual and pianist coincide, and whether a table needs reserving separately from your room. An overnight booking should not be treated as a dinner or entertainment reservation.

Which parts of the stay are returning?

The reopening announcement includes the St. Regis Spa and dining at Cordelia and RÜYA, alongside KYMA Beach Club. The hotel's current overview also advertises its round-the-clock butler service. These give the stay options beyond the redesigned bar, although individual venue schedules still need checking for your arrival date.

Marriott describes Cordelia as a dining destination, RÜYA as contemporary Anatolian cooking and the Dip Pool Bar as a place for poolside drinks and food. That range is useful if you want to spend an evening at the property without committing every meal to the same setting.
