Copacabana Palace, A Belmond Hotel Dining Guide
When both starred rooms are open, Copacabana Palace is Latin America's rare two-Michelin-star hotel dining stack. Pan-Asian Mee under chef Alberto Morisawa is the working flagship through the 2025–26 remodel — omakase at the Carrara marble counter, tasting menus including a vegan track, and a sake list past 50 labels. Ristorante Hotel Cipriani under Nello Cassese (Michelin-starred Italian since 1994, no ownership link to Venice's Cipriani) is closed for the pool-wing works with a reinvented late-2026 return, possibly under a new name. Pérgula covers Brazilian and Mediterranean all-day by the pool, including the Saturday feijoada-with-samba ritual and Sunday brunch. The Pool Bar handles caipirinhas and light bites when operating, with a forthcoming Bar do Copa cachaça programme flagged in renovation materials. Book Mee before you fly; lock feijoada if your stay includes a Saturday.
