Baratta Sedici Bar is Splendido's cocktail room, named for the aristocratic Baratta chapter of the building's history (the baron who turned the monastery into a summer house). It handles pre-dinner aperitivo and late nightcaps with a spirits-forward list and the same harbour outlook that defines the rest of the property. Use it as the hinge between Grill or Terrazza and bed; it is also the right place to wait out a late table without standing in the lobby. The renovation made it a destination bar rather than a corridor amenity — dress for it the way you would for La Terrazza. The name is a deliberate nod to Baron Baratta, who turned the monastery into a summer house before the Valentini hotel chapter. Dress for it the way you would for La Terrazza; the harbour outlook from a bar stool is one of the cheaper ways to buy the Splendido view. Order a proper Negroni, watch the harbour lights come up, and walk into La Terrazza without ever losing the view that made you book the hill in the first place.
