18 named room, casetta and casa cards across La Corte, Il Borgo and Le Case
Savelletri di Fasano, Italy

Borgo Egnazia: A tufo village in Savelletri — lock La Corte’s 12-and-over season, Vair’s 9am–7pm, and whether you belong in the Borgo or a Casa.

Borgo Egnazia is a built tufo village at Savelletri di Fasano, between the Itria Valley and the Adriatic. The contacts page prints Bari about 55 kilometres and 45 minutes, Brindisi about 50 kilometres and 30 minutes, Fasano station about 5 kilometres, and two private beaches — Cala Masciola and La Fonte — plus San Domenico Golf. About prints that since 2010 the house has been part of Leading Hotels of the World. That is the LHW join year, not an opening year — the house does not print when the village opened, a room count, or an architect. Inventory lives on three indexes: La Corte, Il Borgo, and Le Case. Eighteen named cards sit under those indexes.

Lock the age line before you pay. Every La Corte card prints the same rule: from 1 June to 30 September, and at Easter, Christmas and New Year, La Corte rooms — together with the swimming pools and restaurants in that area — are reserved for guests over 12. Families with children under 13 book Il Borgo or a Casa. La Corte Bella is 355–398 square feet for two plus an infant under two. Splendida is 452–495 for two plus infant or one child under 12 on a sofa. Magnifica is 645–807. Meravigliosa is 731 with golf and sea. La Egnazia is a 1,345-square-foot suite for two with a private heated pool. La Emma joins 125 and 69 square metres for four plus two children under 12 and a 344-square-foot heated pool — and the same card still prints the seasonal over-12 lock. Splendida, Magnifica and Meravigliosa also print a child under 12 on a sofa and the 12+ season. Confirm with the house before you book those keys with anyone 12 or under in that season. Il Borgo runs from Borgo Bella at 42 square metres to Casetta Magnifica at 968 square feet for four. Casetta Bella has a stone staircase between floors. The six Case print 250 square metres except Padronale at 500 square metres for up to 14, with a heated pool at least 18 by 5.5 metres.

Vair’s official contacts page prints opening hours 9am–7pm. Under-16s cannot use the spa alone; under-18s need written parental consent. Roman baths on the Case cards are 50 minutes, once per stay, for guests above 16. Dining cards do not print hours or weekly closes — confirm Due Camini, La Frasca, Cala Masciola, Il Porticato, Ossolungo, Da Frisella, A pizzeri, La Cantina, and the three bars with the house. Il Porticato overlooks La Corte pools and sits under the same seasonal 12+ rule. Da Frisella is the children’s restaurant: ages 0 to 3, then older children up to 12.

A room is not a full-board stay. Meals, Vair, Cala Masciola, and golf extras sit on top of the key. Dogs are on request, certain categories, 35 kilograms or under. Case babysitting needs 24 hours’ notice, max four hours, once a week. Book Borgo if you will pick Corte, Borgo, or Casa on purpose and lock Vair and Due Camini before a summer week. Skip it if you need La Corte in August with a child under 13, if you wanted printed restaurant hours, or if you expected a ten-room masseria instead of a village you navigate. Booking.com is 9.5 from 434 reviews. Trivago is 9.3 from 5,634.

First day

  1. If anyone is under 13 in summer or at Easter, Christmas or New Year, you need Il Borgo or a Casa — not La Corte, and not Il Porticato in that season. La Emma and three Corte suites still print a child-under-12 line on the same cards as the 12+ lock. Confirm with the house.
  2. Book Vair inside 9am–7pm. Under-16s cannot use the spa alone. Case Roman baths are 16+, once.
  3. Dining cards have no hours. Lock Due Camini, La Frasca, or Cala Masciola with the house.
  4. Plan Bari about 45 minutes or Brindisi about 30. Case babysitting needs 24 hours’ notice.

Guests Love

  • The village at night

Trivago’s guest summary and Booking comments keep landing on the same image: tufo lanes, a piazza, a place that does not look like a corridor hotel.

  • Staff who run a big house

Service scores sit in the low nines. People mention hosts, the kids’ operation and a machine that still feels personal until the dining room is full.

  • Vair and the pools

Wellness and pool scores are why spa travellers put up with the inland site. The Roman circuit is the review that keeps getting written.

Guests Warn

  • A resort you have to navigate

Trivago tells you to book restaurants early and to expect an expansive property. Independent reviews record slipped dinner times at Due Camini.

  • The beach is not the garden

You are next to a golf course and olives. Cala Masciola is the answer to that, not a walk-out sand strip.

The overall score is a review-count-weighted average of named public platforms, normalized to /10. Category scores — including cleanliness and location — are Hotel Flock editorial readings of those reviews, not a platform's private formula. Hotel Flock is not affiliated with Tripadvisor, Booking.com, Trivago, or any other review site.
