Çırağan Palace Kempinski Istanbul Dining Guide
The current dining index publishes ten guest-facing cards: Tuğra, Rüya Istanbul, Bellini, Gazebo, C Lounge, Bosphorus Grill, Le Fumoir, Çırağan Palace Shop, Çırağan Bar and Berthold. They remain distinct below, each with its own slug. Culinary Highlights is an offer hub rather than a physical venue and is therefore not presented as a restaurant. The wider programme includes Rüya brunch, breakfast and lunch offers, Gazebo afternoon tea, Tuğra tasting and romantic dinners, a shared garden picnic, Sultan's Dinner events, outside catering and a Ramadan-only sahur room-service inclusion. None is disguised as a permanent restaurant. Current and older house sources disagree over Akdeniz, C Bar, Bosphorus Grill seasonality, Berthold's concept, a private dining room and two romantic dinners, so those conflicts remain explicit rather than being silently resolved.
Before you book dinner
- Reserve Tuğra before arrival: dinner is daily 19:00–23:00, Smart Chic dress applies and children under 12 are not accommodated.
- Rüya serves breakfast daily but lunch and dinner only Tuesday–Sunday; Sunday brunch occupies 12:30–16:00.
- Bellini serves dinner Tuesday–Sunday 18:00–23:00. Its former romantic-dinner page now redirects and is not treated as a current offer.
- Bosphorus Grill's live card prints daily service, while official press kits call the venue seasonal or summertime; confirm the operating season.
- Le Fumoir excludes under-12s, and Çırağan Bar excludes under-12s while restricting ages 12–18 to family accompaniment.
- Do not plan around C Bar or Akdeniz: neither has a current venue card, although official PDFs still contain conflicting references.
- Treat the Rüya bar timetable literally but cautiously: the live card prints only 00:30–01:00, which does not align cleanly with its evening lounge and DJ copy.
- Private dinners, picnics, event banquets and catering are request formats, not additional restaurants; obtain current terms directly.
Tuğra Restaurant
Dining
The palace's Turkish fine-dining restaurant serves dinner daily from 19:00–23:00. Smart Chic dress and reservations are required, and children under 12 are not accommodated. The current romantic-dinner format is a five-course table for two with house decoration, chocolates and cake; full payment is required at least two days ahead, outside food, drink, decoration, photographers and musicians are not permitted, and other diners remain in the room.

Rüya combines an Anatolian restaurant, lounge and bar. Breakfast is daily 07:00–11:00; Sunday brunch is 12:30–16:00; lunch and dinner run Tuesday–Sunday, 12:30–16:00 and 19:00–23:00. The card prints bar hours Tuesday–Sunday 00:30–01:00—an anomalous 30-minute period after midnight—while DJs play Friday and Saturday 20:00–00:00. Elegant Casual dress is stated; no Monday lunch or dinner is published.

Bellini is the Italian à-la-carte room for homemade pasta, risotto and cocktails. Dinner runs Tuesday–Sunday 18:00–23:00, making Monday the unstated service gap in the published schedule, and Smart Casual dress is requested. One section calls Giovanni Vaccaro consultant chef while another calls him head chef. A former romantic-dinner URL now resolves to the dining index, so that offer is not treated as current.

The international lobby lounge operates daily 09:00–00:00 with Smart Casual dress. Afternoon tea is separately published for 15:00–18:00 and includes tea, coffee and sparkling Prosecco, with reservations invited. The live card also advertises a fig-inspired selection without dates or a separate retrievable page, so its availability should be confirmed rather than assumed.

C Lounge is a casual international bar serving snacks, light bites and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Lunch is daily 12:00–18:00; dinner and bar service are both printed as daily 19:00–23:00. The current index lists C Lounge, while official press kits instead describe C Bar and older sources give conflicting C Bar schedules. C Lounge is retained as the current card and is not merged with C Bar.

An outdoor seafood and Mediterranean grill beside the water, with casual dress. The live card prints lunch daily 12:00–16:00 and dinner daily 19:00–23:00; lunch reservations are required. A Pop & Jazz Trio is scheduled Friday and Saturday 20:00–22:30. Current and 2024 press kits call it summertime or seasonal, so the daily live hours should not be read as a year-round guarantee without confirmation.

Because it combines smoking, late service and an age restriction, families should choose another lounge and adults should confirm their preferred seating environment.

- Is the Akdeniz private dining room still available?
- Official fact sheets list a ten-seat Akdeniz PDR, but Akdeniz has been replaced by Rüya and no current Rüya page confirms it.
