The Chatwal Lodge, The Catskills Rooms & Suites
There is no live inventory. When the lodge ran, rooms were Adirondack-style houses, not a tower. TPG’s entry junior suite Tree Tops was 808 square feet above the kitchen in the main lodge. Chapin Hill, a larger Lookout room they were moved to, was 1,614 square feet. CNT stayed in Elk Lodge, part of Longview with Water’s Edge and Bear Cub. Forbes 2024 added three oak-and-maple treehouses imported from Germany, each for up to four, on top of the earlier units. Frette, Toto washlets, electric fireplaces and kitchens show up across reviews. Do not ask a booking engine now. The old “11 waterfront suites with private docks” line is not a bookable stay.
