Older counts of eight, and Tripadvisor’s seven-plus-guesthouse line, are not the live tree count. The guesthouse still sells rooms — Telegraph said eight, Tripadvisor nine, the agent sheet 12 beds. People come for a named tree. Mirrorcube and Bird’s Nest are small; Dragonfly and 7th Room sleep more. Only four tree rooms have showers. Blue Cone is the accessible room, ramp to the guesthouse. Ask for the room name — Mirrorcube versus 7th Room versus Oasis.
