Four Seasons Adds Japan, Thailand and Lanai Trips With One Planning Team
Four Seasons expands its curated itineraries with new multi-hotel journeys in Japan, Thailand and Lanai, each run by a single coordinating team.
Four Seasons is stitching more of its portfolio into ready-made journeys. On 24 September 2026 the brand added three multi-property itineraries covering Japan, Thailand and Lanai, each built around one dedicated team that handles logistics, programming and local access from the first night to the last.
The move follows earlier launches in Bali, Spain and Mexico. Rather than selling standalone stays, Four Seasons is packaging its hotels as connected travel products for guests who want depth without the friction of stitching bookings themselves.
What the Japan, Thailand and Lanai trips include
Japan's nine-day "The Art of Old & New" links Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi, Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto and Four Seasons Hotel Osaka. The standout access is a visit to 1F at Tokyo's Toyosu Fish Market, a floor usually reserved for top sushi professionals, followed by a chef-led sushi session using fish bought that morning. In Kyoto, a Cultural Ambassador steers guests beyond the standard temple circuit. Osaka focuses on neighbourhood food institutions and market craft.
Thailand's 11-day "Stories & Stillness" runs through Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Koh Samui, with stays that can include Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River, Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai and Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui. Highlights include a mother-daughter textile visit at Naenna Studio in Chiang Mai, a bespoke cocktail session at BKK Social Club in Bangkok, and Koh Samui's Secret Night Spa Ritual on a secluded stretch of coast.
Lanai's seven-day "Two Worlds, One Island" keeps guests on one Hawaiian island while switching resorts. The first chapter centres on outdoor and cultural experiences at Four Seasons Resort Lanai, including a catamaran sail and storytelling with local guide Tuma. The second moves to Sensei Lanai, A Four Seasons Resort for private forest bathing and spa rituals in the mountain forest.
Why this matters if you are booking luxury stays
For guests, the value is less about a new hotel and more about how the brand uses inventory it already owns. A single point of contact cuts the usual handoff between properties. Food, craft and wellness programming becomes the spine of the trip rather than an add-on after you arrive. With more than 600 restaurants and bars across 136 hotels in 47 countries, Four Seasons has the kitchen bench to make that pitch real.
Marc Speichert, executive vice president and chief commercial officer, framed the collection as meaningful and seamless at once. For travellers comparing a DIY string of luxury stays against a brand-curated route, these itineraries are the clearer path when you want local access without managing five separate concierge desks yourself.
