Dunton Hot Springs Dining Guide
All meals and nonalcoholic and alcoholic beverages are included for overnight guests except selections from the Reserve List. Dunton does not use a fixed à-la-carte menu; the kitchen plans daily meals around season, ingredient quality and preferences, allergies and dietary restrictions collected before arrival. Breakfast and lunch are served in the Saloon, while dinner may use its communal table, individual seating in the Dance Hall, the chef's counter or table, the private room above the Saloon or an outdoor setting when weather allows. A packed picnic is supported with advance notice. The Saloon Bar has a dated complimentary tasting program, but the house publishes no general bar timetable or in-cabin dining service.
Before you book dinner
- Breakfast is cooked to order in the Saloon from 8:00–10:00, and lunch is served there daily at 13:00.
- No dinner clock time is published; dinner may be communal in the Saloon, individually seated in the Dance Hall or interactive at the chef's counter or table.
- The same interactive setting is called chef's counter and chef's table on the current dining page; it is not treated as two venues.
- The private room above the Saloon requires Guest Services contact, with no public capacity, notice period or universal inclusion.
- Packed picnic lunch is available with advance notice, but the house gives no exact cutoff or pickup time.
- All meals and standard beverages are included for overnight guests; Reserve List selections are the stated exception.
- The Saloon Bar's 2026 Friday tasting is limited to eight guests aged 21 and over, but the live page still links a different 2025 program.
- No in-cabin dining timetable or minibar program is published, and silence is not converted into an unavailable-service claim.

Saloon Dining
Daily regional cooking shaped by seasonality and guest preferences
Cooked-to-order breakfast 8:00–10:00; lunch daily at 13:00; no dinner clock time published
The Saloon is the core dining room: cooked-to-order breakfast runs from 8:00–10:00, lunch is served daily at 13:00, and dinner may gather guests at one communal table. There is no standard à-la-carte menu because dishes change with season, available ingredients and pre-arrival preferences. The house prints no dinner hour, so one should not be inferred.
Full guide →Dance Hall Dinner Seating
The same daily Dunton dinner program
No dinner clock time published
Guests who do not want the Saloon's communal table may request individual dinner seating in the Dance Hall. The house presents this as a seating alternative within the same daily dining program, not as another restaurant with a separate menu. No dinner hour, capacity, guaranteed notice period or dress code is published.
Full guide →Chef's Counter / Chef's Table
The daily Dunton dinner served beside the kitchen action
No clock time published
The current dining introduction calls this the chef's counter, while the dinner section calls it the chef's table. Both descriptions point to the same interactive way to watch dinner service rather than two different venues. The house gives no capacity, schedule, age limit, notice period or separate supplement, so those details require direct confirmation.
Full guide →Private Dining Room Above the Saloon
Tailored service from the Dunton culinary team
By arrangement; no timetable published
The official dining page supports a reservable private room above the Saloon and directs guests to Guest Services for details. It is a real private room, but the public page supplies no capacity, minimum notice, menu, schedule or universal inclusion. Winter intimate-wedding language also supports a separate dinner setting without redefining this room's terms.
Full guide →Packed Picnic Lunch
A packed version of Dunton's daily lunch for an outing
Lunch service; pickup time not published
Instead of eating the daily 13:00 lunch in the Saloon, overnight guests may request a thoughtfully packed picnic for an outing. The service requires advance notice, but the house gives no cutoff, collection point, menu, dietary deadline or weather rule. It should remain a meal format rather than being presented as a restaurant.
Full guide →Saloon Bar
Included standard alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, plus Reserve List selections
General hours not published; 2026 complimentary program lists Friday tasting and mixology at 16:00
The Saloon Bar is explicitly named in Dunton's winter program. Its 2026 complimentary schedule places a rotating wine or cocktail tasting with paired small bites on Friday at 16:00, limited to eight guests aged 21 and over, with reservations ideally 48–72 hours ahead. The live experiences page still links a materially different 2025 program, and no general bar timetable is published.
Full guide →Buyout and Wedding Dining
Custom menus arranged with the Dunton culinary team
Defined by the event contract; no public timetable
Full-property weddings and buyouts support customized menus across the existing Saloon, Dance Hall and approved event settings. This is an event service rather than another public restaurant. Winter intimate weddings may host up to 16 guests without a full buyout under a separate seasonal add-on limited to six cabins or fewer, while full-town event capacity conflicts between 52 and 54.
