Mandarin Oriental Lutetia, Paris Dining Guide

The current Mandarin Oriental roster has four public venues: Brasserie Lutetia, Le Saint-Germain, Bar Josephine, and Bar Aristide. In-room dining runs around the clock but is a service, not a fifth restaurant; private meals are arranged in event spaces rather than presented as public outlets. As of August 30, 2026, Le Saint-Germain's restaurant service has resumed after its August closure, but weekend afternoon tea remains paused through September 11. Bar Josephine has reopened, while its Thursday-to-Saturday live music remains paused through September 9. Bar Aristide remains seasonally closed through September 10. The old Matsuhisa proposition and the expired November 2025 Florian Favario residency are not current venues, and neither the Brasserie nor Lutetia itself should be described as Michelin-starred.

4 dining venues and experiences

Before you book dinner

  • Reserve Brasserie Lutetia or Le Saint-Germain when a specific meal matters, and use their current cards rather than old Matsuhisa or Favario listings.
  • Le Saint-Germain's restaurant service has resumed, but afternoon tea remains paused through September 11, 2026.
  • Bar Josephine is open, though live music remains paused through September 9; Bar Aristide remains closed through September 10.
  • In-room dining runs 24 hours but is a service, not a restaurant; private dining takes place in reservable event spaces.
  • Private events may use the Cristal Ballroom, L'Orangerie, salons, Mezzanine, or bars, with bespoke menus arranged through the events team.
  • Do not transfer Michelin recognition from Florian Favario's own restaurant or from generic brand copy to any current Lutetia venue.

Brasserie Lutetia

French classics and contemporary brasserie dishes

Daily 7am-10:30pm; breakfast Mon-Fri 7-10:30am and Sat-Sun 7-11am

Patrick Charvet leads the hotel's all-day French brasserie, pairing classic and contemporary dishes with a seafood counter and outdoor patio. The venue page prints daily service from 7am to 10:30pm. Its breakfast menu is more specific: 7-10:30am Monday-Friday and 7-11am Saturday-Sunday. Treat those weekend breakfast hours as a meal-period detail rather than changing the venue's stated all-day span. Children's dining is supported by the current shared kids' menu.

Le Saint-Germain

Seasonal Italian-influenced all-day and evening dining

Daily 10:30am-10pm; afternoon tea normally Sat-Sun 3-6pm but paused through Sep 11, 2026

Le Saint-Germain is the glass-roofed salon where Alessio Maselli presents seasonal Italian-influenced evening cooking and Nicolas Guercio leads the weekend afternoon tea. The venue prints 10:30am-10pm. Restaurant service resumed after its August 2-22 closure, but afternoon tea remains paused through September 11, 2026; the venue page and dining index disagree on whether that pause began June 29 or after an unspecified date, but agree on the September 11 end. Afternoon tea normally runs Saturday and Sunday from 3-6pm.

Bar Josephine

Cocktails, spirits, and evening bar food

Daily 5pm-1am; food 5-10:45pm; live music normally Thu-Sat 8-11pm but paused through Sep 9, 2026

Bar Josephine is the hotel's principal evening bar, overseen with Bar Aristide by Angelo Forte and set beneath restored historic frescoes. It has reopened after its August 2-22 seasonal closure and prints hours of 5pm-1am. The food menu runs from 5-10:45pm. Live music normally appears Thursday-Saturday from 8-11pm, but that program remains paused through September 9, 2026, so an early-September drink should not be sold as a music night.

Bar Aristide

Cocktails, spirits, cigars, and evening bar food

Normally Thu-Sat 6pm-1am; seasonally closed through Sep 10, 2026; food normally 6-10:45pm

Bar Aristide is the smaller speakeasy-style cigar lounge, overseen by Angelo Forte and normally open only Thursday-Saturday from 6pm-1am. It remains seasonally closed through September 10, 2026, so guests arriving before the reopening should use Bar Josephine instead. When operating, its food menu runs from 6-10:45pm. This is a bar and cigar lounge, not a separate dinner restaurant, and its restricted three-night calendar matters when planning a short stay.

There are four current public venues: Brasserie Lutetia, Le Saint-Germain, Bar Josephine, and Bar Aristide.

No. The residency ran only in November 2025; its still-live page is historical and does not describe a current restaurant.
Is Matsuhisa still at Lutetia?
No current Mandarin Oriental dining page lists Matsuhisa, so older Nobu or Matsuhisa references should be treated as stale.
Is afternoon tea available at the end of August 2026?
No. Le Saint-Germain's weekend afternoon tea remains paused through September 11, 2026.
Does the hotel offer room service overnight?
Yes. In-room dining is available 24 hours for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late-night orders.
Can guests arrange a private dinner?
Yes. The events team can arrange bespoke private dining in named event rooms, but those spaces are not public restaurants.
Are any current Lutetia restaurants Michelin-starred?
No current property page establishes a Michelin star for Brasserie Lutetia, Le Saint-Germain, or either bar.
