Cheval Blanc Seychelles is LVMH’s December 2024 maison on Anse Intendance, Mahé: 52 Jean-Michel Gathy villas on 22 hectares between the jungle and the bay. Villas sit on the sand or on the hill, each with an Ambassadeur. The Cheval Blanc Spa is the first Guerlain spa in the Seychelles. The house lists five restaurants, from Le White at breakfast to Le 1947 two nights a week.

Lock the tables the calendar can take away, and lock the villa by age. Le 1947, the French gastronomic night facing Prune Nourry’s Centauresse, is Wednesday and Sunday only. Mizumi, Japanese by the lake, is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday — Thursday is the Creole evening. If either room is why you came, put it on the villa reservation. Le White is the everyday room: breakfast and dinner every day, closed for lunch. Lunch sits at Vivamento by the pool or Sula on the beach. The maison is on Mahé, not a private island. Confirm the transfer from the airport with the house. Once you are on the bay you do not need a boat to reach the villas. The kids’ club is the largest in the country on the official page — 250 square metres indoors and 1,300 outdoors, with a water park. The stay is not all-inclusive. Confirm whether breakfast sits in your rate. Dinners, the transfer, and Guerlain hours are extra.

Ask for the villa by name. Beach Villas face Anse Intendance: one bedroom for two at 220 square metres, or two bedrooms for four at 350 square metres, each with a 13-metre garden pool. Beach Retreat Two Bedroom is 430 square metres for four, still a 13-metre pool. Beach Retreat Three Bedroom is 620 square metres for six — two independent villas and an 18-metre pool. Jungle Hill, Ocean Hill, and Panorama Hill are one-bedrooms for two at 235 square metres with a 13-metre terrace pool — jungle, sea, or the full bay. One of the two Panorama villas is reached only by multiple steps. Villa Horizon is the two-bedroom on stilts over the granite: 695 square metres on the villa card, a 25-metre pool, and 12 and over.

Skip it if you want an all-inclusive rate, a tasting every night of a short stay, a hill villa with children under 12, or a house you reach only by seaplane.
